As we begin to see the first signs of a seasonal tide shift in housing we turn to the man who nailed the housing debacle. Whitney Tilson has been dead right on housing and how it would relate to the deterioration in the financial sector. He recently called it the “mother of all head fakes”. After being bearish through most of 2008 and turning bullish near the panic lows Tilson is now turning cautious again. As always, he has some rational thoughts on housing and the banks:
