Underlying economy looks strong to me. Who cares what apps millennials think are trendy? I still think stock bubble in the next 24 months is high probability. Then Trump will have to clean up the mess on the back end of his term….

I’m with Roche on this one. There’s no bubble until the dumb money is all in.

you could argue IPO bandits rank among the best market timers – there was a feeling markets would not dump until they stuff dumb money with that dumbest IPO in ages

      ‘n’est pas Google qui veut’

IPOs like snapchat hardly leave any upside i.e. priced for maximum stuffing which is a big drift from capital markets original purpose

The trick to SNAP is whether it can monetize Millennials with video advertising (commercials) since they no longer watch network TV. So if SNAP can pull that off, then the lofty valuations will be distant memory just as Amazon, FB and Google once were. It’s not about the trailing or current state of fundamentals, but future growth. It’ll be another advertising network, but more modern compared to Google and FB. It’s sad that this is where all the money is… wasting human productivity inventing better advertising network platforms. Where does it end, with Big Brother?

If it came down to Twitter or SNAP becoming profitable, I think I’d have to vote for the latter.
